Who am I?

I am an enterprising person, who loves challenges and does not give up easily. Very detailed and self-taught, I never stop learning. I am currently at Parc Taulí Hospital helping to develop new business models based on additive manufacturing, a 3D printing LAB. On the other hand, I like to be in constant training, so I am doing an executive MBA and also doing a doctorate focused on the application of 3D printers in operating rooms.

I have always been passionate about understanding how things work. Luckily, I have managed to make my hobby my job. Being always attentive and at the forefront of technology allows me to find efficient solutions. My first studies were focused on electronics but little by little I was approaching mechanics and 3D design, going through a master’s degree in biomedical engineering and a postgraduate degree in expert in medical device, although I always save time to continue training. I have designed and brought to market 3D printers or even computer programs, such as this website that is designed, managed and built entirely by me.

Professionally, I am helping to create, carry out and coordinate, both at the regulatory and application development level, a 3D printing laboratory within a hospital. In short, I have focused on enhancing my ability to create and understand each of the elements that make up any type of product in order to have an ideal profile to manage or direct all types of technological projects.

Para ello me baso en la eficiencia a base de la organización, análisis y automatización de procesos. Integro todo tipo de nuevos proyectos dentro de cualquier empresa de forma óptima, ya que parto de un conocimiento profundo de la tecnología a nivel técnico, incorporo habilidades de programación informática y lo combino con una perspectiva de visión empresarial. He creado mis propios algoritmos basados en GTD que me permiten gestionar el tiempo de una forma eficiente. También domino las herramientas clásicas de gestión: diagramas de flujo, GANTT, CPM, DAFO, PERT o gestión de riesgos. Por lo tanto, soy capaz de integrar todas estas herramientas mediante flujos automatizados y creando PNT dentro de todo tipo de entornos de trabajo como OFFICE365 o SLACK.​

Empecé creando y vendiendo mis propias impresoras 3D y he acabado distribuyendo y trabajando con las empresas más punteras: 3D SYSTEMS, STRATASYS o DESKTOP METAL entre otras. Tengo gran experiencia en todo el espectro de tecnologías 3D como la extrusión, fotopolimerización, binder jetting, material jetting, laser sintering, metalsintering, fabricación por laminación, pero también en CNC, inyección por moldeo o escáneres 3D entre otros. Los productos no tienen una solución universal de fabricación, cada proceso de fabricación tiene sus ventajas e inconvenientes. Por lo tanto, como expertoen fabricación, soy capaz de calcular el retorno de la inversión, tiempos, costes de todo tipo de soluciones de fabricación.

Each patient is unique and being able to provide tailor-made or personalized solutions allows us to reduce time and costs, improving precision and quality. I have experience in all kinds of medical projects for customized solutions such as the manufacture of medical models, design of surgical guides or consulting and advicefor 3D laboratories in hospitals.
